How we handle your personal data when you use this website or get in touch about a quote.

Last updated: 30 April 2026

1. Who we are

This website (tiledroof.co.uk) is operated by Inbray Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05446799) with its registered office at Unit 7 Priestley Road, Wardley Industrial Estate, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2LY. Inbray Limited trades as Tiled Roof for the purposes of this site.

For data protection purposes, Inbray Limited is the “data controller” for personal data collected through this website. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZA505825. You can contact us at [email protected] or on 0161 793 1166.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal data you give us directly. The forms on this site ask for:

  • Name
  • Postcode
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Information about your conservatory — e.g. roof type, size, timeline (where you choose to provide it)
  • Anything else you write in a free-text message

Our hosting provider (GoDaddy) keeps standard web server logs, which may include your IP address, the pages you viewed, your browser and operating system, and the date and time of your visit. We use these only for security, troubleshooting and aggregate site-traffic understanding.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process your personal data on two lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — when you tick the consent box on a form to ask us to contact you about your enquiry.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — once we’re in active conversation about a possible install (responding to your enquiry, arranging a survey, providing a quote, fulfilling a contract). You can object to this at any time.

4. How we use it

We use your data to:

  • Reply to the enquiry you sent us
  • Arrange a free home survey at a time that suits you
  • Prepare and send you a written quote
  • If you go ahead with an install, organise and deliver the work, and meet our obligations under the 10-year insurance-backed guarantee
  • Keep records required for accounting, tax, insurance and warranty purposes

We do not sell your data, rent it, share it with marketing partners, or use it to profile you.

5. Who we share it with

We only share your data with third parties where it’s necessary to deliver the service or where we’re required to by law. The third parties currently involved in running this site are:

  • FormSubmit.co — used to deliver form submissions to our inbox. Submissions pass through their service before reaching us.
  • GoDaddy — our hosting provider. They store the website files and may keep server logs containing your IP address.
  • Google — we use Google Fonts to load the site’s typefaces, and a Google Maps embed on our Contact page. When you load those pages, Google receives your IP and standard browser headers.
  • Absolute Window Co — our parent brand and the same trading entity (Inbray Limited). For some quotes and installs we share resources, surveyors, and installation teams between the two brands.
  • IWA — our 10-year insurance-backed guarantee provider. If you go ahead with an install, IWA receives the information needed to register your warranty.

If you ask us to arrange a Building Regulations completion certificate after install, we will share the necessary install details with Local Authority Building Control to enable that.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a quote or install: deleted within 24 months of last contact.
  • Quote records (no install): kept for 24 months after the quote date.
  • Customer records (install completed): kept for at least 7 years from completion to meet HMRC retention requirements, and for the duration of any active 10-year guarantee.
  • Server logs: retained by our hosting provider in line with their standard retention policy.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (a Subject Access Request)
  • Ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your data, where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it
  • Restrict or object to how we’re processing it
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we’re relying on
  • Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We’ll respond within one calendar month.

8. Cookies

This site does not currently set first-party tracking cookies. Some third-party cookies may be set when you load specific pages (for example the Google Maps embed on our Contact page). For the full picture, see our Cookie Policy.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be flagged on this page itself; minor wording or contact-detail tweaks won’t be.

10. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office:
